BearBills is NOT a bill guarantor.

As much as we’d love to pay bills for others, we can’t. To maintain our service, we cannot cover bills for anyone. BearBills is not a way to get more time to pay your bills, or an extra roommate to help pay. We facilitate the bill paying process, collect your payment with no effort from your part, and put all of your bill information in one place for you. True, this service would be even better if we made your bills free, but we can’t do that.

Our easy payment system keeps your bills covered.

We will keep your bills paid on time, every time, but you‘re still the one paying those bills. Our automatic payment options protect you from late fees and bad credit, but keep in mind that you’re always the one responsible for keeping the funds available in your account to cover your BearBill.

If you need help paying bills, get your parents involved.

It’s always possible to use your parents’ information for your checking or credit card payments. Of course, be sure to get their permission, to keep things from getting awkward at family dinners. Just input their information into the system, and your bills will be paid through their account, simply and automatically. We can use your credit card, but we can’t be your credit card.

BearBills helps you pay for the utilities that you use. When your BearBill comes to you, it is simply passing on charges from your utility providers. We don’t make up the numbers, and we don’t add any numbers (except for late fees, which are easily avoided if you keep your accounts healthy). We can make your life simpler, but we can’t be a credit card, lender, or debt collector. We also can’t give you an extension on paying your bills. That would make the service terrible for everyone involved. We are passionate about giving great service, but we have zero tolerance for delinquent payers.
